Ceremony & Reception
-The Decision
Monte Carlo
This took us a little while to decide on. My fiancee had obviously been doing his research too and managed to convince me that this was the place both within our budget and with the accommodations we wanted. Even though we e-mailed almost all of the places we researched, the staff at the Monte Carlo gave us the best customer service and when we met with them they were more than happy to walk us through the places so we could get a feel for the place.
We still need to go though the menus, pick out the florals, decide on setup and flow of the ceremony but that will need to be decided when we get our RSVPs back in April/May. For now, we have a when and where.

The Chapel
It's a little... pink... like old lady pink but it's only for a few minutes and I think I can suck it up until we get to the festivities. I do have a major problem with the ball things at the front of the altar because they're really distracting and I just don't get why they're there. I asked one of the ladies working there if they wouldn't mind just taking them out for our ceremony but she redirected the conversation to buying a floral arrangement that will sit in front of them. Another problem is that the officiant will be wearing some sort of a mint green altar robe for the ceremony. I quickly vetoed that and requested that he do the ceremony in the suit he'll already be wearing, sans robe.
The Reception
We won't know for sure what room we'll be in until about a week beforehand. We don't even know how soon we'll be able to get into the room to decorate it either! This means that I'll need to do a lot of prepping the night before and get all the centerpieces and stuff in order so the guys can just set them out on the tables.
