Ceremony & Reception
-The Research
We're working on the where in Vegas part now and should have that figured out after our scouting trip on Thanksgiving week. We both tried researching the heck out of them and sending e-mails to the places we were interested in but after a while we got tired.
For now, these are some of the places we're thinking of:

MGM

mgmgrandweddings.com
Pros:
We specifically liked the ballroom package fo $4,900 because the ceremony and reception can be done all right there. No one has to go anywhere else and we don't have to book another room for the ceremony or reception. If we gook our wedding and host the reception in their banquet facility we'll get $200 towards bridal floral and chapel decor, complementary champagne toast, discounts on multiple reception packages, no fee for booking a banquet facility, and a complimentary dance floor
Cons:
No outside food, drinks, flowers, etc allowed. Not sure how extensive this list is but we'll find that out when we meet with them.
Don't really like most of their flowers. Their food, liquor and cake is sort of expensive.

Tropicana

Not sure about this one. I think this is in case we decide to hold the ceremony at one of the hotels and the reception at a restaurant

All three have the same website because they're a part of the same conglomerate.

Mirage
Mandalay Bay
The packages are in our price range but if we want to feed everyone that's invited we'll need to take out the equivalent of a small house loan
Wynn
*gasp*
*expensive*
